Miss Pinky is a native of Little Rock Arkansas who has been performing since the age of 7. She enjoys Singing, Hosting, acting, modeling, writing, and performing . At the age of 14 she won 1st place in the Arkansas Talent Search. She was a background singer in a reggae band called “ Butterfly and Irie Soul” and soon after that Miss Pinky formed a band by the name of PiNk IcE and  performed at The Rev Room in the Diva's On Tha Rock Tour, Corner Stone Pubb for Red Chair Promotions Events, Restaurant “SO”, 1st Friday's at Juanita's, Debutant Ball hosted by Greek Fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha, The Arts Scene as well as many other venues. She’s been apart of several plays such as Hip Hop Project Directed by Steve Broadax, An Evolution Of Music Directed by Agnolia Gay and Helen Strickland, Heidy Understands Anxiety, Poetry is my Lyfe Revenge is my Mission, and etc. Her first live performance in the poetry world was at the Funny Bone Comedy Club downtown Little Rock Arkansas. At the age of 18 she joined a group called The Little Rock Heat with friends J-Buggie, Ronnie, and Lil Jay Jay’s Manager Ken Bright who traveled out of town several times to be the "feature" in open mic nights. While attending UAPB she was voted best poet by the sophomore class and her poem "Hater's Disease" won her the title of Miss Omega Psi Phi years 2002-2004. In 2002 Pinky joined the street team for Hot 96.5 where she gained lots of exposure. Later that year Pinky opened of for the nationally known artist Tyrese. January of 2003 she went to LA, California where she opened up for Comedians Joe Tory, Alex Thomas, and Lil Jay Jay. After returning from LA she continued performing anywhere from churches, to talent shows, to Juanita's, to opening up for artists such as Black Sheep, Abyss, AJ Johnson, Silk, Pimp C, Biz Markie and many more. . Pinky won 1st place in a poetry slam at UALR upon her winnings she received cash money, her bio in the UALR paper, and ultimate prize was to open up for the one and only Miss Nikki Giovanni. Miss Pinky relocated to Houston, TX in January of 2009 and has been blowing up the open mic scenes landing her several features at venues such as The Poetry Lounge “ Shadow Bar”, Mr. A’s, Skols, The 6th Annual I love Redefinition  Experience. As well as opened up for Nationally known artist Charlie Boy at the 2010 Essence Festival in New Orleans at club Ampersand, Chrisette Michelle, Marsha Ambrosius, Sinbad, and etc. She's hosted several events such as Heart & Soul, Dress Houston,Prairie View’s Choice Awards, Poets & painter, and many more. Miss Pinky has performed the role of Etta James In the Motown revue and more for 3 years singing before an audience of 40,000 + and have sang on local news stations such as ABC, Fox, Great Day Houston, and Newsfix. So as you can see Miss Pinky is no stranger to the Stage. Motto that she lives by "yesterday was a memory ,today is a present and tomorrow is a mystery so appreciate life because you never know when its your time so make EVERY second count". Pinky thanks God, her family, her true friends, fans and her 9yr old son Kelton.
