R.a.a.w Materialz was created in the month of september 2012. R.A.A.W stands for R.ising A.bove A.ll W.eakness. The group was found by President Ladiamond Blueford and Vice President Ronell Martin. R.a.a.W Materialz dance crew is based at Texas Southern Univeristy. The purpose of R.A.A.W Materialz Dance Crew is provide a dance outlet for all Texas Southern University to express their creativity and love of performing. R.a.a.W is an upcoming dance crew designed to expand members' talent and passion for the art of dance. We encourage diversity in all styles of dance. We also plan to create a new style of dance called "Theatrical Hip-hop." We believe in promoting unity among Texas Southern University's campus. We are forming a family bond within our organization. We express team-work and leadership through our choreoraphy. Our main goal is allowing people to see how we express ourselves though the art of dance. R.a.a.W dance crew desires to become well known, not only on Texas Southern University's campus, but all throughout America. We hope to be good enough to be televised. We also hope to expose our new choreography. We plan on putting a more positive look on Texas Southern University.
